Ultrasensor® is at the heart of Pearl Izumi′s reputation for creating the highest performing technical fabrics in the world. Ultrasensor® is Pearl′s exclusive collection of moisture-transfer fabrics, each one providing one-way capillary action for the life of the garment.

Therma Fleece provides warmth and comfort over a wide temperature range. Exceptionally durable, it′s unique construction also offers thermal comfort and moisture management without the bulk of conventional fleece fabrics.

Part of Pearl′s Ultrasensor® family of fabrics, Microsensor® takes performance to the next level by increasing the moisture transfer rate 15-20%. With larger yarns next to the skin and finer microfilament yarns on the face of the fabric pulls moisture away from the skin through unique capillary action.

Lightweight PolySENTRIC® fabric features quick drying hydrophobic Polyester yarns that speeds up the evaporation process. It′s textured yarns offer exceptionally soft comfort and allow the fabric to drape well for freedom of movement.

Zephrr® is a lightweight woven microfilament Polyester that is soft and supple. It′s balance of water resistance, wind resistance and breathability creates an extremely versatile and comfortable garment for use during aerobic activities.

Cycling Tights and Shorts
More than any other part of the body, tights and shorts are crucial to cycling enjoyment and performance. Being a primary point of contact with the bike, shorts can make or break an afternoon. Pearl Izumi has spent years developing chamois systems and other technical improvements that make their shorts the finest in cycling.

The 3D Pro Chamois offers a low-profile minimalist design for the elite rider. Bonded with Fusion Technology, the dual density padding is anatomically conforming to provide comfort during long days in the saddle.

The Pearl Izumi 3D Chamois offers high performance comfort and design. Using Fusion Technology, additional padding and materials are bonded, instead of stitched, onto the surface of our chamois putting thicker, denser padding in key pressure areas to maximize comfort whilst cycling.

Pressure Relief Technology, PRT, reduces pressure points when cycling with a system of differentiated padding levels. The construction has been engineered to reduce and eliminate possible friction points while providing protection in key areas.

Cycling Shoes
Pearl Izumi′s mission is to secure the key pressure points. The ball, midfoot and heal. This security means more freedom for the rest of the foot without compromising power transfer. Pearl Izumi believes in comfort. Comfort means giving your toes room to move, it also means no hot spots. Only the best in materials and construction are used to provide shoes that deliver great performance fit and comfort for a broad range of feet.

The BOA™ system is all about pressure free, performance fit. The BOA™ reel allows you to micro adjust the fit in a way that tightens consistently through the upper of the shoes. The Spectra Cord is super strong, lightweight and moves through the friction free lace guides to give a uniquely smooth fit. The result is a super comfortable, high performance, non stretch power fit.

The I-Beam is a molded ridge that runs the length of the sole. This results in a stiffer shoe, compared to a standard flat construction of either nylon or carbon, which offers better foot to pedal power transfer and also allows the sole thickness to be thinner for a lighter shoe.
